Karl Lagerfeld goes Gold with Olympic Fashion

Karl Lagerfeld is celebrating the Olympics the best way he knows how, through fashion!

He unveiled his Olympic themed capsule collection in his pop-up store in Selfridges, London on July 24, 2012 which naturally included plenty of gold accents.

If you’re not all hyped up about the Olympics, you can at least appreciate the Olympic touches incorporated into each and every piece.

The collection includes white jackets and totes speckled in metallic gold, t-shirts with medallions on them, as well as clutches decorated in gems of bronze, silver and gold! Lagerfeld doesn’t stray too far from his tried and true classic designs such as, tailored trousers in his signature black and white.

The opening of his store lured in quite the fashionable crowd including journalist Hilary Alexander, model Edie Campbell, artist, muse, model and designer Daphne Guinness and model Portia Freeman just to name a few. All sported Lagerfeld (of course!) and looked pretty darn chic!

The third floor of High end department store Selfridges will be home to his Olympic pop up store. The iconic designer and style icon will also be calling London home to his brand new  luxury menswear line Karl Lagerfeld Paris Man.

WIth the Olympics off to a start in high gear, this collection will allow you to get into the Olympic spirit while getting your hands on some Karl Lagerfeld gear at a reasonable price (think a few hundred CDN dollars).

This is definitely one of kind collection that will be sure to life your Olympic spirits!
